Rodrigue Ullens, CEO
Rod is our CEO and co-founder. He leads the company’s strategic direction and implementation.
Before founding Voxbone, he provided advice, training and seminars to European carriers, such as Belgacom mobile, KPN, France Telecom and Orange, as well as several European governments.
Rod holds a Master in telecommunication engineering from the University of Louvain in Belgium.
François Struman, CTO
Francois is our CTO and co-founder. He is responsible for the company's technical teams.
He has over 10 years experience in software development and telecommunications. Previous to founding Voxbone, Francois worked as lead IT architect for UPC, Sourcepower, and later Dvdpost and held senior software development positions at Swift and Cisco Systems.
François holds a Master in telecommunication engineering from ULB in Belgium.
Sebastien d'Ursel, CFO
Seb was the company's first sales person. He now serves as CFO.
Prior to joining Voxbone, he has worked at Belgium's first business aviation company.
Seb has a background as Sales Engineer with a major in Entrepreneurship from the University of Louvain in Belgium.
Gaetan Brichet, COO
Gaetan is our COO. He is in charge of the daily operations of our company.
Gaetan has 10 years of experience in the Telecom industry. He previously worked as a project manager for Alcatel-Lucent (in Belgium and in Australia) and then for Bain & Company as an adviser on turnaround and optimization issues.
Gaetan holds a Master in Electronics Engineering from the ULG in Belgium and a MBA from the INSEAD.
Jos Speeckaert, VP interconnects
Involved in telecommunications for over 15 years, Jos is conversant in Interconnection and Regulatory aspects, and has a brought knowledge on traditional and converged communications technology platforms.
Prior to joining Voxbone, Jos was Telecom Sourcing Manager for SITA in 16 European countries. Before that he was Senior Business Consultant at Telindus (Belgacom), Business Development Manager at Versatel, Telecom Director at Tiscali and Carrier Relations Manager at MCI Worldcom (Verizon) and Telenet.
Antoine Veldekens, VP Operations
Antoine has over 10 years experience in customer support and NOC management. He has built up his experience in leading telecom companies such as GTS Ebone (KPN Qwest) and AT&T.
In the Operations team, you'll get to develop your technical IT and SIP skills by providing support to internal departments, customers and suppliers.
Erik De Herdt, General Counsel
Erik has over 13 years experience in managing a legal department and advising on telecom regulatory issues.
Prior to joining Voxbone, Erik was General Counsel for Melexis, Legal & Regulatory Manager for Verizon Belux, and Senior Legal Counsel for EDS Belux.
In the Legal team, you will be involved in international contract negotiations and be acquainted with the ins and outs of the VoIP regulation. You will be able to contribute to reshaping the fast moving legal communications framework.
João Antonio, Manager, Carrier Services Operations
João is responsible for purchasing at Voxbone.
Prior to joining Voxbone, João worked in an international holding group involved in business analysis and strategic sourcing. His background is in Economics complemented by an MBA.
In the Carrier Operations team, you will focus on optimizing resources, improving operational flows and forging relationships with new partners.
Flora Nkuranga, Sales Manager
Flora is responsible for the sales department.
Prior to joining Voxbone, Flora was in charge of fund raising for the Pan-African student Union of the Santa Monica College in California where she was completing her studies in Business. She also holds a B.Sc. in Information Technology.
In the Sales team, you will first learn how we give a VIP service to our customers. You will also have the opportunity to help prospects in new markets.
Laurent Jarbinet, Infrastructure Manager
Laurent joined Voxbone as a support engineer at the early stage of the company. Gaining expertise in VoIP, he quickly took responsibility for the company's IP backbone.
Prior to joining Voxbone, he worked as software developer for a Belgian consultancy firm.
In the Infrastructure team, you will get to re-invent solutions every day to grow Voxbone's network while keeping it up and running 24/7, 365 days/year.
